A recent poll of open positions in health care indicated that advanced education is required for graduates to be successful in Healthcare Informatics and Analytics*.

A search of Indeed.com reveals over 500 open “Health Data Analyst” positions across the country, with nearly 200 of these listing a salary of $85,000 or more, and nearly 100 of these at $100,000 or more. This program bridges the gap in education between the AAS in Health Information Technology and the Bachelors in Health Informatics and Information Management.

Completing this program and sitting for the CHDA credential indicates the graduate has completed specialized coursework and is prepared for advancing in roles in Health Data Analytics.
